Congratulations - you're here!
First either save this as one of your "Favorites" or pick someplace that isn't active on the screen, right click the mouse, navigate down the pop-up/pull-down menu that comes up, to "Create Shortcut", say "yes" when it asks if you want a shortcut, and there you go - it'll atutomatically place one on your desktop.
It will be simpler for both of us to get the information we want and/or need this way. Scheduling, announcements, and comments will be on the blog:
http://theislandartist.blogspot.com/ (that's here)
Photos of the paint-out or event—will be posted at:
http://picasaweb.google.com/theislandartist (that's the Gallery page)
I'll always have a link here to there if there are photos involved in the post - while you're there you can enlarge images by clicking on them or, my favorite - a slideshow.
And here’s some really cool stuff. If you look down to the bottom of the post you’ll see the word <Comments> if you click on that a window will open where you can leave a comment on that post that anyone can read—also—the site sends that comment to me via email. The number of comments on that topic are also listed and can be read.
To the lower right hand corner of the blog there is a diagram that shows previous posts—clicking on one of them will take you to that post.
Towards the bottom of the page you’ll see <Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)> this is an RSS feed (you need to be a member of Google to use this one—it’s free—easy—why not?) that will send each new post to your RSS reader without you having to visit the site directly.
If you have any questions - leave a comment.
So - there it is - West Hawaii Plein Air Painters is on the Web.
Painting En Plein Air is a personal and sometimes physical challenge. This journal describes that journey and the people that I travel with on that path.
